If you’re looking for the best learning environment for your student for the 2025-2026 school year, you’ve come to the right place! We believe students learn best in a dynamic, interactive, in-person setting. Our Christian homeschool academy classes meet on Mondays and Wednesdays at Advent Lutheran Church on a beautiful wooded campus in a quiet suburban neighborhood.

Mid-Metro Academy supports homeschooling families with a wide range of classes for homeschooled students in grades 5-12, including:

You may be dissatisfied with public and charter school options. There's no question that private schools are expensive. But homeschooling your teenager may seem daunting.

Good news! Mid-Metro Academy may be the solution you're looking for. Our engaging in-person classes for grades 5-12--taught by professional, experienced teachers--make it possible to homeschool your student all the way through high school. 

It's not too late to join Mid-Metro Academy for 2025-2026. We have room for your student! 

Here's how to join and register for classes:

1. JOIN Mid-Metro Academy by completing our online membership application. 
2. Check your emails. If accepted, you will receive an email approving your membership within 24 hours. Pay your membership fees through our website.
3. Review our schedule to choose the classes that align with your educational goals for your student(s). Choose one class or many--it's up to you! We offer discounts for students who take seven classes or more in one semester.
4. REGISTER for classes online. Tuition payments for fall-semester classes are due immediately upon registration. Tuition for full-year classes may be paid in two payments; the first half is due immediately upon registration.

Classes meet on Mondays and Wednesdays at our beautiful Roseville campus beginning September 8 and September 10.

Mid-Metro Academy makes homeschooling easier than you might think. Over 220 students will be making friends and learning at MMA this year. We invite your student to be one of them!

Homeschooling offers flexibility, lets you educate your students in a way that's consistent with your family's values, and helps students become independent, lifelong learners. When students enter their teen years, parents may feel less confident in teaching all subjects at home. And teens benefit from having teachers who aren't Mom or Dad. Our homeschool academy offers the benefits of homeschooling and attending in-person classes.

Since our classes meet once a week, students and families enjoy the flexibility and convenience of the hybrid/blended model that works so well with the homeschooling lifestyle. Choose to attend classes on one or two days: Mondays and/or Wednesdays. Our classes are offered a la carte: Choose one class, fill your student's entire schedule, or anything in between. It's up to you!

MMA teachers use a flipped-classroom approach. When students come to class each week, they’ll engage in social learning activities like discussions, group projects, simulations, and experiments plus get real-time feedback from their teacher. These experiences make learning stick—even as they build soft skills like teamwork, communication, and resilience. During the rest of the week, students access content at home through various media, including videos, textbooks, and handouts. Depending on the class, they’ll have homework that helps them apply what they’ve read or watched.

Fall classes begin on September 8 and September 10. We'd love to have your student join us for 2025-2026.

Mid-Metro Academy now meets at Advent Lutheran Church, 3000 Hamline Ave N, Roseville, MN 55113. Our easily accessed location is convenient to most parts of the Twin Cities metro area.

Just one mile east of Northwestern University, Mid-Metro Academy is located in a quiet neighborhood filled with single-family homes and parks.

Students and parents park for free in our spacious lot.
