Sample Junior High Plan

Every student is unique, and one of the best things about homeschooling is that you can customize your student’s schedule based on his or her skill level, needs, and interests. Grade levels are less important than learning and mastery. It’s not at all unusual for a student to be working at one level in one subject—for example, math or science—and a grade ahead or behind in another—for example, English.

With that in mind, here’s a sample junior high school plan to show how a student COULD move through the major subject areas at Mid-Metro Academy. Just keep in mind that the way your child SHOULD progress is based on your goals and his or her unique abilities and interests, not on any pre-set formula.
