Friday Is Enrichment Day at MMA

Fridays are “Homeschool Enrichment Day at MMA.”

Friday classes offer families a chance to add extra activities that enhance life and learning. Some Friday classes meet for an hour and have lower tuition. Others run for 90 minutes or 2 hours. But they all fall under the broad category of “enrichment.”

Enrichment takes various forms and meets diverse goals. Specifically, enrichment classes can help students:

  • delve deeper into an academic subject from a different perspective.
  • discover new hobbies and interests
  • prepare for a career
  • improve their study skills
  • make friends and build relationships

While academic classes help students gain information and skills they’ll need as they move into adulthood, enrichment classes can spark students’ motivation, engage their creativity, and help students grow and thrive in new ways. Arts classes can add peace and joy, giving young people an outlet they can look forward to each week.

Parents can get in on the fun and advancement, too. Several classes are open for adults to take with their students or for parents to take on their own.
