Dr. Joseph Ray To All Instructors
Dr. Joey Ray is on sabbatical from dentistry, so he can devote more time to his passions: dance and ministry. Dr. Ray is a University of Minnesota Hall of Fame Gymnast and former world-class USA National Team Member. He has performed with RedCo ( Rochester ), BodyTalk ( Minneapolis ) and Minnesota Dance Theater ( Minneapolis ) dance/performance companies.
His favorite dances are Argentine Tango, West Coast Swing, Lyrical, BodyTalk ( a creative combination of all of the above ) and
Worship Dance. He has donated several seasons as a dance instructor for Dancing for the Arts and Dancing with the Freeborn County Stars. He also volunteered with Sky Vault Theater and World Players Theater, where he enjoyed working with teens and young adults. Dr. Ray is active in Christian ministry as a pastor and Bible teacher.
