Our ultra-accessible location is 5 to 20 minutes from most parts of the Twin Cities metro area. 

Our families come from all over the metro area and beyond. We serve students and families from the north, east, south, and west areas of the Twin Cities. 

We have free, easy parking options for parents, teachers, and student drivers. Students and visitors park in the lot that borders Hamline Avenue, while teachers use the "back" parking lot accessed from Josephine Road.

Our park-like neighborhood--just east of Northwestern University--is quiet, safe, and picturesque.

God has led us to a wonderful location in 2023 that is practically perfect for us: Advent Lutheran Church, 3000 Hamline Avenue, Roseville. This location is a mile east of the University of Northwestern—St. Paul and is easily accessible from major highways. Specifically, it’s about a mile north of Highway 36, about two miles south of I-694, less than two miles east of I-35W, and about three miles west of I-35E.

Because we're in a lower-density neighborhood with at-the-door drop-off and pick-up, getting in and out of the parking lot is a breeze.

Lovely Wooded Setting

Advent Lutheran Church is a charming building that occupies ten acres, some heavily wooded. A large, grassy lawn and playground area are available to MMA students over the lunch period when the weather is nice, and the spacious lot allows teachers to move classes outside for part of the period during early fall and late spring. This occasional breath of fresh air boosts students’ moods and enhances the learning experience. We feel blessed to have abundant green space in our learning environment.

The lot borders Cottontail Park, which has a walking trail, and sits across the street from Autumn Grove Park, which has tennis courts, ball fields, a playground, and an outdoor ice rink. Our phy ed class makes use of these areas for some classes. You can catch a glimpse of sparkling Lake Josephine from our parking lot. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful.

Dedicated Education Wing

The classrooms are in a separate wing of the building, which has its own monitored entrance. All classrooms are ground-level and have a wall of windows that provide plenty of natural light and a view of the picturesque setting. The Fellowship Hall, which we use for Study Hall and Student Lounge, is especially spacious, allowing separate areas for quiet study and socializing. During most periods, the Narthex is open to parents who want to remain on-site while their students attend class.

Shared Space

Our academy is the only group on campus during the day on Mondays and Fridays. Other groups, such as homeschool co-ops, may rent the space on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
