What classes do PSEO students take over two years?
We want our PSEO students to:
- improve core competencies
- gain experience in reasoned discourse
- develop critical thinking skills
We have selected courses that meet one or more of those objectives. Courses have also been selected to meet Minnesota high school graduation standards and to satisfy general education requirements at most U.S. colleges and universities. Courses are offered through North Central University, a fully accredited regional university. Our current plan, which is subject to change, is shown below.

|ECON 251 Principles of Microeconomics||MATH 110 Applied Math and Personal Finance|

All courses are three-credit courses. Students take up to 12 credits per semester and may earn up to 24 credits in a year. Students may take as many or as few courses each semester as desired. Students may take PSEO at MMA and other institutions at the same time. Depending on demand and the availability of adjunct professors, more PSEO courses may be offered in 2023-2024 and future years.
