Join us for fun Christmas activities--including an Ugly Christmas Sweater contest, Christmas Scavenger Hunt, Christmas Cookie Swap--and more! Please sign up by clicking the sign-up-now button below to let us know you're coming!
Get a first-hand view of what our students are doing this semester, and preview the great classes we've got in store for spring semester. Join us on Monday afternoon, December 12, from 3:30 to 5:30 in our second-floor classroom space. Current families and families who are interested in joining us in January are welcome to come with their students in sixth to twelfth grades.

- View photographs taken by Allison Million's Photography 1 students.
- Sample refreshments prepared by Sheila McAlpine's Culinary Arts classes.
- Watch swing dancing demonstrations by Joey Ray and his students--and try some moves yourself.
- Hear our percussion ensemble led by Chris Paschen beat out a rousing rhythm.
- Listen to solos performed by our beginning guitar student.
- Enjoy magic tricks presented by Bob Miller, Magician!
You'll have a chance to meet and chat with teachers, hear about upcoming classes, and socialize with other homeschooling families. We look forward to seeing you.
Special holiday events include:
- Christmas Cookie Swap: bring a half-dozen cookies in a plastic zipper bag with the recipe. For every six cookies you leave, take six home!
- Christmas Scavenger Hunt: stop into each classroom to find out what's new for second semester. While you're there, find the Christmas decoration unique to that room. Turn in your completed map for a prize!
- Ugly Christmas Sweater Contest: students are encouraged to wear their ugliest holiday sweaters to classes on Monday and keep them on for the Open House. Judging at 5:00. Categories: strangest, glitziest, and most Christmas-y.
- Blind White Elephant Exchange: Here's your chance to unload the worst white elephant gift you own--and risk getting a worse one! Wrap up the gift you want to lose and deposit it on the white elephant table. You MUST take a new unwrapped gift with you when you leave. Spend the rest of the year trying to figure out whose horrible present you ended up with!
