Mid-Metro Academy is seeking to fill the following teaching positions for the 2020-2021 school year. Classes are taught in-person at our St. Paul location. If you’re interested in one of these opportunities, please send a letter of inquiry to director@midmetroacademy.com.

Secondary School Teacher: Spanish 1 and Spanish 2

These courses for 7th - 12th grades meet on Monday mornings at our St. Paul location for 15 weeks in the fall and 15 weeks in winter/spring. We prefer a native Spanish speaker, but fluency, desire and aptitude to work with young people, and the ability to incorporate Spanish-speaking cultural activities into the lessons are required.

PSEO Teacher: Science, Technology, and Society

This college-level class meets spring semester (15 consecutive weeks) on Tuesdays (time TBD). Candidate must have an advanced degree in a science-related field and if hired will be an employee of North Central University. This course focuses on contemporary science and technology issues that affect our day-to-day lives and aims to teach students science literacy and reasoned discourse in a dynamic, interactive environment.
